Music can be a bridge to the heart. I hope these songs I share make that connection with you. Enjoy listening!
Intro
I wrote my first song during my college years. I wrote a few more when we were starting our family. However, in the last few years I started writing even more, and they have been very encouraging to me and my wife through some difficult days. I have felt strongly this last year or so to develop these songs and share them as an encouragement to others. So, here I am now online to share these songs that mean so much to me.
I think the songs will bring joy and encouragement to your heart, give comfort and hope to those facing challenges, and remind you of God's great love for each and every one of us. I look forward to making new friends, and reconnecting with old friends. If you like the music, please keep in touch.

Background
I have loved music from a very early age. I remember listening to Dad and his guitar playing buddies in the living room on weekends. I loved hearing Mom and Dad sing those gospel harmonies. It wasn't long before I began piano lessons and recitals, and eventually was able to play along with them.
In the summertime all the neighbors could hear me singing to the top of my lungs on the riding lawnmower, until one of my brothers kindly brought to my attention that everyone from about a half mile away could hear me. I'm sure he would have helped me become famous online if there had been online options back then. I reverted back to my shyness once I realized that the lawnmower wasn't exactly my own private studio like I thought.
I developed my love for music further in youth choir and high school band. During high school I played piano for our children's choir and a ladies' vocal group, and also played organ on Sunday nights at church. Toward the end of high school, I was finished with piano lessons, but I had learned Chopin's "Berceuse, Op 57" as my final and most accomplished recital piece.
Next, it was college vocal ensembles, gospel groups, and then a big move to my first job. I did not realize how big of a move it was until I had made the move. I certainly missed my family and friends, but I soon found a new church home and began developing new friends. Music helped me connect with a lot of new people, and I began singing and playing concerts in the area. I played piano and keyboard at several churches and helped lead music at several churches. I met my beautiful wife Michelle, and our family began to grow. We relocated to Georgia while the kids were young. I soon began playing piano at the church we joined. The church was in great need of a piano player, and they remind me they "prayed" me into this church. God was certainly drawing our family there, and we have made wonderful friends and enjoyed beautiful times of worship. God was leading through all of this and has blessed us greatly in this life together.
